No overdraft/credit feature.

Your funds are placed in a segregated account (known as a ‘safeguarding account’) that meets the local regulatory requirements. Funds are not covered by any deposit guarantee schemes. Instead, your funds are segregated, which means those funds would be separated from other assets in the event of an insolvency and used to repay you and other clients. Safeguarding is a regulatory requirement for all EMIs designed to protect customers from the risk of losing funds. The Account is a payment service product and not a deposit or credit or banking product and, as such is not governed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or any other deposit insurance or compensation scheme.

For Consumer

For opening a consumer account, you must be a legal resident in the EEA countries, you must hold a legal resident ID document (Passport, Government issued driver license, Citizen card if you are EEA citizen, and Passport plus Resident permit or long-term visas if you are non-EEA citizen). There is no charge on customer services both automated and live support, paperless monthly statements, and real-time notices.

For Merchants

For opening a Merchant account, you must be a legal registered entity in the EEA countries, you must hold the following documents:

  • Certificate of incorporation/recent Excerpt from Company House;
  • Memorandum of Association /Articles of Association;
  • Register of the directors (if the information is not included in the Excerpt);
  • Register of shareholders (if the information is not included in the Excerpt);
  • Corporate utility bill / bank statement /lease agreement +proof of payment;
